ViconNet Nucleus server

A ViconNet Nucleus server acts as the center point of the distributed architecture of a surveillance system and connects all devices running ViconNet video management software (VMS).
The ViconNet Nucleus server has dedicated ViconNet Nucleus software preloaded in a desktop or space-saving one rack-mount chassis. The ViconNet Nucleus software provides an open platform that allows integration with IP cameras, including megapixel cameras, encoders and IP edge devices from numerous industry-leading manufacturers.
The software provides outstanding functionality and an intuitive interface for administrators, security managers and system operators anywhere on the network. For multi-site users, enterprise management options ensure efficiency.

ViconNet Web and Mobile server

The ViconNet Web and Mobile server is designed to allow authorized security managers and operators to select and control video displayed from a browser-based or mobile application interface. The server acts as a gateway to the ViconNet network video system without any requirement to install and maintain client-based software.
The web viewer application uses a standard browser interface such as Internet Explorer®, Firefox®, Chrome™ and Safari®. The browser interface utilizes Microsoft®’s Silverlight® technology that eliminates any requirements to download a plug-in.
The mobile applications supports the use of Apple® and Android™ mobile devices, up to four streams on phones and nine on tablets*.

Virtual Matrix Display Controller

The Virtual Matrix Display Controller (VMDC) is a self-contained, matrix control solution for ViconNet® video management software designed to provide users with the ability to direct network video to multiple monitor displays.

The VMDC server is preinstalled with the VMDC software that enables operators to display any camera on any monitor connected to the network. Camera selection can be controlled via a dedicated keypad or by using the software interface. The user interface is designed to support a command center environment.

The VMDC server is the decoding component that enables the high-quality ViconNet remote network video streams to display sharp and clear, high-resolution images on multiple monitors in multiple locations. The VMDC is a scalable, cost-effective management solution and can be configured to display and control local and remote monitors. This means operators can display video on a remote monitor and easily share surveillance footage with colleagues.

ViconNet Workstation

The ViconNet Workstation is a high-capacity network video recorder designed as a remote workstation for operators. While the workstation does not have recording capability, it is a dedicated machine preinstalled with the ViconNet Workstation Client enabling operators to find and view video data, as well as create and export video evidence. The workstation is configured without internal storage drives, but is compatible with external SAN-RAID using an iSCSI network connection.
